I started using Blockbuster's online rental service 10 months ago. Besides the price increase from $15.99 to $17.99 for 3 DVD's at a time. I have found their service to be very good. Rental's arrive very quickly. You receive an email each time they ship or receive your rental.

They handle errors or unviewable DVD's quite well. I have received 2 rental's that had skips and each time I emailed customer service and let them know the disk was scratched. They immediately send out a replacement or the next DVD in your queue. Once I never received the DVD that was supposedly sent. After a week I emailed customer service once again and they simply mailed out my next selection. The DVD showed up as returned a few weeks later.

One perk that will only benefit you if you have a local Blockbuster store is the 2 monthly coupons for free rentals. Each month you can login to your account and orint out 2 coupons for free game or DVD rentals. Especially handy if you want to get a new movie on the day it is released. In store rentals are $3.99 for new releases so you save $7.98. Also from time to time you get coupons for free previously viewed movies. They are usually limited to a few titles and only those in stock at your local store. My first free movie was Cheaper by the Dozen. I have also seen buy one get one free coupons for previously viwed movies as well.

I would recommend the Blockbuster online service. The price is Fair and if you have a local store the free coupons are a great benefit. Also after you join you may get coupon codes you can share with your friends and family. I joined using a code from my brother for a free1 month trial.
